Prerequisites. A good understanding of English Description Theoretical training only, please contact us to arrange the mandatory on the job and practical training.
Who should train: Persons implementing security controls for cargo and mail other than screening, or having access to identifiable air cargo or identifiable air mail
Training Language: English
Duration: 1,5 to 2 hours
Final Test: All trainees need to pass a final exam in order to complete the security course.
The minimum pass grade: 85%. If a trainee fails for the first time, he/she will be given a second attempt at the exam. If a trainee fails twice, he/she will have to retake the entire course.
Certification: Once the trainee has passed the final exam, he/she will be provided with a e-Certificate that can be printed. The certificate is then valid for 60 months.
Validity: 5 years

- Previous acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation, terrorist acts and current threats The relevant legal requirements
- The objectives and organisation of aviation security, including the obligations and responsibilities of persons implementing security controls Procedures for challenging persons and circumstances in which persons should be challenged or reported
- Reporting procedures Identifying prohibited articles ability to respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles How prohibited articles may be concealed Protection requirements for cargo and mail
- Transportation requirements, if applicable

Target Group
This 11.2.3.9 – Air Cargo & Mail Security training course is aimed at regulated entities in the Secure Supply Chain, who are responsible for the implementation of security controls for air cargo and mail (other than screeners). Or persons who have access to identifiable air cargo or mail in accordance with the requirements of the European Commission (EC) 300/2008 and as detailed in (EU) 2015/1998 Article 11.2.3.9
